Nicolas Angell, PhD

Nicolas brings over 30 years of high-impact biopharmaceutical leadership to Attralus, specializing in the end-to-end orchestration of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) operations, clinical process development, and commercial validation. A strategic architect of operational excellence, he excels at translating complex scientific and regulatory frameworks into scalable manufacturing solutions that maximize long-term asset value and ensure global compliance.

Prior to joining Attralus, Nicolas held senior executive roles at Connect Biopharma, Amgen, and Human Genome Sciences, where he pioneered the integration of disruptive technologies, including machine learning and bioinformatics-driven design, to optimize R&D efficiency and accelerate time-to-patient. His career is defined by a proven ability to mentor high-performing, cross-functional teams and forge strategic, multi-national CDMO alliances across the U.S., Europe, and China to ensure supply chain resilience. With a mastery of Quality-by-Design (QbD) principles, he has successfully navigated rigorous global regulatory submissions and inspections with the FDA, EMEA, and other international health authorities.

Nicolas earned his PhD in Chemistry from Imperial College London and his BS in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina.
